By default, windows xp is programmed to restart immediately after a sytem failure, like one in Blue Screen of Death (BSoD). It happens too fast that we wont be able to view the error message at all. However it can be disabled manually by following the steps below.
Quick steps :-
1. Goto Start >> Control panel >> Switch to Classic View and select System from control panel (Or) simply right click on My Computer and select properties.

2. Select the advanced tab.

3. Look for Startup and recovery then select settings.

4. Uncheck the box that says “Automatically Restart”.

5. Enter Ok in both the settings tab. That’s it!

That’s happen to me and it is very annoying because you can not read the error message.
